Verhalen in Alle Talen

Stories in All Languages is a new project by Wintertuin in which adults and children work together to create a children’s book. During the workshops, participants, both adults and children with Dutch as a second language, explore adventures and stories from different cultures. Adults attend workshops separately from the children, where they learn how to write down and illustrate stories. In this way, the participants collaboratively create a children’s book in multilingual Dutch.

During InScience, one parent child duo will present their stories from the brand new book, and together with a linguist we will engage in a conversation about language acquisition and the power of the stories we pass on to one another.
