In this film, cultural thinker Slavoj Žižek takes us on a journey through his critique of contemporary dating culture. Narrated by Žižek himself and narrated by an animated Renaissance gentleman, the film moves between mockumentary, philosophical reflection, and playful observation. The film shows how dating is increasingly shaped by systems of choice, comparison, and optimization, and what this does to desire, doubt, and encounters. Not only dating apps are central, but the broader logic behind them.
