What remains of human love when artificial help is deployed? What can computers learn? And can we make a virtual copy of the real world? This program examines pressing questions about artificial intelligence in an entertaining mix of five short films.

TALK For this Q&A, we invited a very special guest. The now infamous chatbot ChatGPT will join us on stage. She will answer all our question on artificial intelligence, its influence on the world, and whatever more you want to know. Can she, indeed, replace our beloved speakers?

Hysteresis

Hysteresis

The film intimately weaves a transformative fabric between projections of abstract drawings & queer performer Tsuki’s choreography. Using machine learning to mediate these re-presentations, it intentionally corrupts the AI’s strategies to unveil a visual language of the hysteria & hysteresis.

Our Ark

Our Ark

Our Ark is an essay film on our efforts to create a virtual replica of the real world. We are backing up the planet, creating 3D models of animals, rainforests, cities and people. We are archiving as if ecological collapse could be staved off through some digital Noah’s Ark of beasts and objects.
