Renowned director Frederick Wiseman has built a career on sneaking the spectator into complex and mysterious organizations, silently observing all the processes that make them work. This time we’re brought within the idyllic green hills of the centre of France, where the Troisgros family has for a long time made their name in the annals of the finest cuisine. From the artistry of composing the recipes and sourcing the finest ingredients to the science of a perfectly orchestrated kitchen and impeccable hospitality, the film is a long contemplation into one of life’s greatest pleasures: the joy of food. 

This unique film screening includes a lunch with soup and various sandwiches. You can also taste extraordinary vegan cheese, which was specially made for the tenth edition of InScience in a very appropriate place: in the projection booth, with the help of the heat of the film projector!
