What is life? Where does love come from? Does consciousness even exist? 

With curiosity and humor, filmmaker Max Kestner takes us on a philosophical journey in search of answers to life’s biggest questions. His starting point? The unexpected global uproar over a giraffe’s death at the Copenhagen Zoo. From there, he follows scientists and thinkers who explore the mysteries of existence, from biology to metaphysics. Life and Other Problems is both playful and thought-provoking, an adventurous dive into the wonders—and absurdities—of life itself.
