Fire of Love
Film
Burning love, daredevilry and breathtaking science: the Oscar-nominated documentary Fire of Love tells the story of volcanologist couple Katia and Maurice Krafft. Their passion for lava brought them together and unraveling the mysteries surrounding volcanoes became their life’s work. They captured their scientific research in unique images that let the raw power of nature roar off the screen.
TALK We often say we ‘love’ nature. But what does that really mean? The Krafts were able to love vulcanoes as much as they loved each other. Inspired by the film, we invite you to write a love letter to a small or big piece of nature.
