Who owns history? A diving club on Texel discovers a 17th century dress and other treasures in a shipwreck. They call in the local museum Kaap Skil after this unique find, because they would like to keep the stuff on the island. What follows is a clash between the Texel divers and the mainland government authorities, who react with shock at the way in which the art treasures have come to the surface. This homegrown documentary raises interesting questions about how to deal with our history.
