African Moot
Film
It is an annual event in Gaborone, Botswana: the African Human Rights Moot Court Competition. Here, young law students from different African countries compete against each other in preparation for the real work as lawyers. African Moot is a fresh documentary about human rights, ambition, dreams, winners and losers.
TALK Countries like South Africa deal with alarming xenophobia. Pan-africanist ideals are under attack when African citizens attack fellow African immigrants. Where does this xenophobia come from? What can be done against it? We make a Zoom call with Johannesburg to talk with Dawu Sehlaphi Sibanda, expert Southern Africa at FOS.
