A Look Inside Voedselbos Ketelbroek

Imagine a place where agriculture and nature exist in perfect harmony. Where monocultures make way for a rich ecosystem of trees, shrubs, and herbs that sustain each other. This is the vision behind Food Forest Ketelbroek, a pioneering project in sustainable agriculture. 

Food forests are based on principles of natural ecosystems and offer an alternative to intensive farming. By making smart use of biodiversity, they produce food in a sustainable way without depleting the soil. Wouter van Eck, one of the key figures behind the food forest movement in the Netherlands, will take you on an inspiring tour through Ketelbroek. 

Before the tour, the film The Perfect Meal will be screened at community center De Slenk (separate ticket required). Please note: the terrain can be muddy, so sturdy shoes or boots are recommended!
