Physicist Ted Hall was the youngest scientist to help develop the plutonium bomb. In 1951, at the height of the Cold War, he shared secret nuclear information with the Soviet Union to prevent a global catastrophe. A Compassionate Spy brings this unique story to life in an electrifying spy thriller.

TALK International students and university employees are closely monitored in The Netherlands. The reason? What if knowledge from our country is used abroad for the wrong purposes? At the same time, everyone has the right to get education. Also the wish to make scientific knowledge publicly available is broadly shared. When is gaining knowledge an act of sharing, and when would it be considered stealing? Ying Wang (University of Twente), Anneke Zuiderwijk (TU Delft), and Pieter Wolters (Radboud University Nijmegen) discuss the fine lines with each other and the audience.
