Update: Corona measures & InScience Online
Unfortunate news: cinemas must close their doors for two weeks from November 4 at 10:00 PM, which means that the physical program of InScience 2020 has been canceled. Fortunately, the InScience 2020 online program is still on!
Restitution
Do you have a ticket for one of our film screenings in LUX? Then you will receive your money back as soon as possible. The money will be refunded by LUX to the account number used for payment. We ask you not to contact us by telephone or e-mail for more information; LUX will contact all ticket buyers this week. If you have any questions regarding the e-mail, you can contact LUX at kassa@lux-nijmegen.nl. You will receive a one-time email from InScience containing information about the online program.
Satellite editions
Concerning the satellite editions, we and our partners are working on finding suitable solutions. If a film screening is canceled, the local cinema will contact the ticket buyers.
InScience online
Fortunately, the InScience 2020 online program is still on. Ticket sales will start on 11 November and most films can be viewed on our new online platform. The talks that we initially planned in the theaters also move to the online platform. This means that you can talk with experts, creative thinkers and scientists about the films. All films and talks will remain available up to and including November 22.
Opening film
The opening film Spaceship Earth will be screened on Wednesday 11 November at 20:00 via a livestream on our online platform. Note: make sure you have bought your ticket on time and are logged in. The live stream starts promptly at 20:00. Ticket sales start on November 11. Don’t have time on November 11? Spaceship Earth can be viewed again on Saturday, November 14 at 20:00.
