Open call: filmmakers wanted for archival film Radboud University
The Radboud University will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2023. In collaboration with InScience, the RU invites filmmakers to be inspired as artists-in-residence by the heritage, stories and people of Radboud University and to go to work with it.
In the week of October 17, the day the university was founded in 1923, Radboud Art & Science will take place, a festival where art and science meet. As part of this festival, we invite filmmakers to create new work based on historical images about the history of the university. A new, complete inventory has recently been made of all the archive material from various sources and these will be made available to the artist-in-residence.
Two or three filmmakers are being sought for this residency to make a (short) film, which will be presented during the Art & Science Festival. A conversation with the makers is part of the festival program. The makers will be selected on the basis of a pitch session during the eighth edition of InScience in March 2023. The residency will run from April 1 to October 31, 2023, culminating in Radboud Art & Science.
