Active science communication is high on the agenda of the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science. The government wants to stimulate the debate about the consequences of scientific developments. As a science film festival, InScience contributes to the organization of that debate in an innovative way.
Johan van de Woestijne, festival director, is proud that Minister Van Engelshoven wants to open the festival. “It is a confirmation of the course that InScience has set out to grow into a festival of national significance, as an event where science, society and business meet.”
