Food Evolution
Scott Kennedy | USA 2016 | 92 min | English spoken, no subtitles
The polarising debate surrounding genetically modified food is marked by fear, suspicion and confusion. Neil DeGrasse Tyson narrates a journey to Hawaiian papaya groves, Ugandan banana farms and Iowan cornfields. The documentary analyses today’s food-related challenges, the critical role played by science in addressing these challenges and public perceptions and misunderstandings.
