InScience at Grondfest
On 30 September & 1 October, Grondfest will take place in Nijmegen, a festival about democracy and society. Together with Movies That Matter, InScience will screen a number of short VR films in the Lindenberg, in the Empathy Machine – meaning the Virtual Reality Room. The films last between 6 and 20 minutes.
InScience is screening the short VR films Chasing Coral, Anthropocene: Dandora and Anthropocene: Ivory Burn. These three films make current problems tangible in a unique way, such as the massive extinction of coral reefs and the spread of plastic over the earth. As a spectator you literally step into another world, which you will experience intensely in virtual reality.
