Competition program InScience announced
After months of watching films, writing reviews and making selections, we can finally announce the competition program! A total of 22 films have been selected for the NTR De Kennis van Nu Award, of which no fewer than 13 are screened in the Netherlands for the first time. Which director will go home with the award? You decide that during InScience 2019!

The themes in the InScience program are endless. About the possibility of tinkering with the basis of life, about the symbiosis of art and science, about the icy hope of a second life, about researchers being daredevils, and about revising our past and building our future.

Award show
The NTR De Kennis van Nu Award will be presented during the InScience Award show on Saturday, November 9. The winning director goes home with € 2,500. The Student Jury Award (€ 500) and the InScience Jury Award (€ 2,500) will also be presented during the Award Show. The InScience Jury Award is presented for the first time during the anniversary edition of InScience. With this prize, InScience wants to emphasize the importance of the science film genre.
