Drawing on her work Drinking Brecht (now at InScience) and an indevelopment work, Ghost Genes, Sister Sylvester explores the ways in which bio-technology and politics interact and intersect with our physical bodies. We watch a video essay by Jenna Ng, widely recognized for her academic work on post-screen practices, and delve deeper into the tension between the virtual and the ‘real’ world. Can we still speak of two separate worlds? As digital spaces become increasingly woven into human experience, where do we draw the line?
A workshop challenges us to question and discuss the ethical boundaries of these digital spaces. Be prepared for a wild journey—one where your own questions and reflections take center stage. Meet new people, spark new collaborations, and by the end of the day, gain insights from leading experts on how to develop, realize, and distribute your work.
We know that productions need funding, so we also present exciting upcoming calls and opportunities to bring your ideas to life.
