Wadi Jhannam

Hicham is a botanist in Beirut who mainly conducts research in Wadi Jhannam, the so-called Valley of Hell in Northern Lebanon. This valley has often played a key role in various armed conflicts and is still a disputed area. Hicham explains in painful anecdotes how his job continues to be complicated because everyone he meets treats him with paranoia.
