The Inventor

The Inventor

A charming stop-motion adventure about the life of the legendary scientist and artist Leonardo da Vinci, focussing on his insatiable curiosity and urge to experiment. Being at odds with the Pope and the French state, he’s looking for a place where he can conduct his experiments undisturbed. With his work he tries to find the answer to the ultimate question: what is the meaning of life?

The film was directed by Pixar veteran Jim Capobianco, who previously wrote the screenplay for Ratatouille. The voices were provided by Stephen Fry, Daisy Ridley and Marion Cotillard, among others. A cheerful animated film that has been made with a lot of attention and a story that is told with a lot of humor, in an adventure for an audience both young and old.

Please note: the film is in English. The Talk is in Dutch.
