Malaria has killed more people than all other diseases and wars combined, and this infectious disease still leads to fatalities day after day. A solution seems near when scientists from Uganda and Kenia, with help from regional doctors, discover a simple medicine that can be produced locally. But before this medicine can be developed, it needs to be approved by the World Health Organization. However, the WHO is located in the West, in Geneva, where they seem to have different interests.
