The Artificial Leaf

The Artificial Leaf

With a
combination of water and sunlight leaves are able to store energy in plants for
a long time. This process of photosynthesis has kept the world alive for ages,
so why can’t we learn from it? That is what scientist Dan Nocera thought when
he decided to invent a way to store energy in metal plates with the help of,
yes, water and sunlight. In this inspiring documentary he explains how his
invention works and he expresses hope for the future.
