I’m Your Man

Finding a partner can be very challenging, especially in romantic comedies. This doesn’t seem to be a problem in Ich bin dein Meinsch, where it’s possible to create the person you have always dreamed about as a lifelike robot. However, Alma is not interested in love and she only takes test robot Tom home because she is paid for this experiment. Tom turns out to be more than a simple sex robot because he is programmed to create an emotional bond with Alma. This is a tragicomic story about the meaning of love and desire, and what makes us human.
