Anamnesis

In the late 1980s, Stefan S. committed a terrible murder. Now he is about to be released. Anamnesis tries to give a murderer a face by offering the viewer a glimpse into Stefan’s head in different ways. The result is an oppressive thriller that is told without sensationalism, as a psychological quest in a unique mix of documentary and puppet theatre.
