Alice Cares

Alice Cares

With an ever growing population of elderly people also comes an ever growing concern that these people might get too lonely. One suggested answer to that problem might be the creation of robots, specially designed for company. The VU University in Amsterdam takes one of these robots to the test in the acclaimed and endearing documentary Alice Cares. Robot Alice gets installed into the homes of three old ladies that are lonely. They are sceptical about the little machine. Will they come to like Alice?
